If the only "social networking" you're familiar with consists of Facebook or Twitter, then here's an idea for how to get some friends together in the real world.  Just make sure they know what they're in for.  I once watched a friend of a friend slam a thirty year old Canadian Club like he was drinking a Jager Bomb.  I wanted to pimp-slap that guy.
