Anybody that says videogames aren't art needs to take a look at this trailer for Call Of Duty: Black Ops.

I'm not sure how many times the whole vampire genre can be reinvented before it reaches a saturation point.  Hell, I'm pretty sure I saw Bill Compton from True Blood in this trailer for Priest, scheduled for release March 4, 2011.  It still looks like it will be pretty awesome, although I'm still partial to Kate Beckinsale in second-skin black leather.

Zombies, however, are and forever will be the scariest thing imaginable.  Here's the TV spot for The Walking Dead, the AMC adaptation of one of the best comics ever.  This one premieres on Halloween.
